Again getting ahead of the trips timeline but we felt the need to share this.
We woke up this morning on the Gold Coast of Australia with the plan to spend the day surfing, only to find the news dominated with the weeks second fatal shark attack.
Sadly a teenaged body surfer was attacked and killed yesterday near Coffs Harbour on Australia’s east coast by what was thought to be a great white shark. Our heartfelt sympathies to friends and family of those lost. Instead we will spend our day a little closer to shore! Back with more from Australia soon.
